Pinthouse Pizza was founded by five guys who share a passion for craft beer. We are local; three of us live within a half mile’s walking distance from Pinthouse. We love Austin, and we are excited to help contribute to the energy and originality that make Austin a vibrant community. Our goals are to serve award-winning beer and hand-crafted pizza in a warm and casual setting. We wanted the materials and design of the space to reflect our commitment to craft in the production of our food and beer. The space should feel a little bit like a dockside warehouse at the turn of the 20th century, when things were made by-hand and meant to last. Pinthouse has actively focused on utilizing re-purposed materials; A lot of old stuff is rad and finding a new way to use existing materials is usually good for sustainability.
