Profile
Holland House Bar & Refuge, the first restaurant opened in Nashville from chef/barman Terry Raley, offers a seasonal dining experience in the heart of East Nashville, now known as the city’s “it” destination for culinary artistry. At the heart of HHB&R’s concept is a passion shared by Executive Chef Kristin Beringson and highly-decorated head bartender Jeremiah Blake, to invent combinations of new and traditional flavors, utilizing the freshest, of-the-season ingredients. Chef Beringson’s cuisine is characterized by classic French technique and elegant plating, a fondness for Mediterranean flavors, and an unwavering commitment to flawless execution. Start with a cocktail at our bar, internationally renowned for superior proprietary cocktails and house-made ingredients, and find the hospitality as gracious as the cocktails are inspired. Dine al fresco on our large patio, enjoy some complimentary truffled popcorn with a barrel-aged negroni by the fire, or host a private event for up to 100 of your closest friends in the James Room. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the potted marrow with black garlic and preserved lemon, or the mangalitsa belly with candied magadamia. Join us each Thursday night for Happy Hour until close, but be sure to make a reservation quickly, as it has become a Nashville institution. Terry Raley and his restaurants have been featured in Southern Living, Entrepreneur Magazine, Food & Wine Magazine, and t
