Ah, beer. The cause of and the solution to all of life’s problems. The Institute opened on June 20, 2008 with a simple goal to offer great beer to an area that was sadly lacking in establishments with good suds & to have fun doing it. Well six years later we have supplied the good suds & it sure as hell wasn’t fun getting here but we have made some amazing friends in the process. We are now recognized as one of the top craft bars in the city & have been called by The Philadelphia Weekly Our bar features a unique one of a kind custom 16 tap system on 2 floors with private booths each with it’s on TV as well as sidewalk cafe seating . Every month we feature some of the most unusual beer & food events in the city and have established some of the greater events in the Tri-State area.
