Profile
Barr’s Public House was established in January of 2012. After transitioning from the previous wine shop, the goal was to create a unique gastro-pub that features high quality pub fare, an exquisite wine list, eclectic craft beer selection, and a combo of authentic & creative hand-crafted cocktails. The name “Public House,” comes from European terminology that has thus been condensed over the years to “Pub”. This pub features two bars each with it’s own unique atmosphere. “The Barrel Room,” is casual and comfortable with an oak-slat bar and furniture made from whiskey barrels .men want their man-cave to resemble this room. The back room, dubbed “The Lounge,” takes on a speak-easy feel with the dim lighting, granite table tops & bar, and the couch seating (great for parties!). The Lounge is where the magic happens by welcoming local musicians every Thursday thru Saturday. The decor and ambience of the bar will leave you in awe- especially the beautiful wall of mission-style cabinetry which are rentable bottle lockers. Business women and men, regular guests, whiskey aficionados & wine connoisseurs need to inquire about renting their own locker here at the Public House. Another unique offering is the rotating selection of local art, which keeps the aesthetics interesting and note-worthy.
