The idea behind Toast was to open a restaurant serving up food made from the freshest locally sourced ingredients, creative cocktails, and a diverse and edgy wine list, all in Cleveland’s most happening neighborhood. Jill likes to stock the wine cellar with excellent examples of popular grape varietals, albeit usually with a twist, as well as those that might push you out of your comfort zone. Our cocktail list developed by John Mcelhatten & team is inspired by the season’s offerings while maintaining the defference to the past. They love discovering new, or obscure spirits to create new cocktails with the whim of the season. They also carfully select timeless cocktails that are either meant for summertime sipping, or cozying up at the bar in the winter chill.
