Profile
A Boston tradition since 1890, Amrheins has welcomed diners to enjoy quality meals amongst friends and neighbors. After modern renovations in 2005, Amrheins is still full of history. It is home of the oldest hand carved bar in America, and displays the first beer pump in Boston. What makes Amrheins special is its dedication to quality cuisine and superior service. Our new executive chef Evan Leavy is carrying on this tradition by producing regional New England comfort food, with a modern global influence. Raised in northern Vermont, Evan developed a strong relationship between the farm and the table. Using his experience, he went on to study culinary arts in Europe and later transition back to New England to work at several five-star resorts and hotels. Chef Evan is excited for you to taste his scratch made creations and is dedicated to continue the Amrheins’ tradition of quality cuisine. Whether it is functions, take-out, or regular family gatherings, we hope to make our services as convenient as possible for you. We hope you enjoy your visit and please let us know if there is anything we can do to enhance your experience.
