Knowing this, Brabant Bar & Café was opened in the Winter of 2013 to pay tribute to all aspects of the wonderfully odd and spirited country. Every choice we’ve made has been rooted in our passion for bringing you real Belgian traditions. From the beers we serve and the glasses they are enjoyed in to the thirty year-old Flash Gordon pinball machine- every inch of Brabant was made to be closest trip you can make to Belgium without going to the wonderful country itself. Stay as long as you like. Brabant Bar & Café is so named for the Belgian Draft Horses of the Brabant province in Belgium. Smaller in stature than most breeds, the Brabant horse is a beautiful and powerful animal, used as a sturdy workhorse that can pull a tremendous amount of weight- we like to think of ourselves as such! We’re Belgian workhorses that stay in stride as we strive to bring you a unique place in which to sip and sup on the best of Belgian heritage.
