California Beach Rock N’ Sushi first opened its doors in 1982 in Hermosa Beach, California and due to its popularity opened a second location three years later in Newport Beach, California. Fifteen years later, the popular California restaurant made its way to Hawaii, where in 1997 California Beach Rock N’ Sushi opened its doors in the up-and-coming Ward/Kaka’ako district of Honolulu.
