Acapulco Founder, Ray Marshall dreamed of sharing his zest for Mexican Cuisine. He seized the opportunity to infuse classic Mexican recipes with flavors of California. Wanting to share his passion for these bold new dishes with others, he opened the first Acapulco Restaurant in 1960. He built a legacy of creating and sharing the sights, sounds and flavors of Mexico mixed with Southern California’s innovative culinary discoveries and fun.

Years later, his legacy continues. His desire to bring family and friends together around great Mexican Food remains at the heart of every Acapulco Restaurant.

Our restaurants are reflections of the communities in which they serve. Each Acapulco restaurant has its own look and design yet remains true to the concept.
