Blue Canoe Brewing Co. is made up of Ida Cowan, Laura Berryhill, and Patrick Cowan. Ida and Laura worked together at a local hospital and became friends. Laura and Ida share an enjoyment of design, with particular emphasis on utilizing up-cycled and antique materials. Together Ida and Laura began building furniture utilizing antique and up-cycled materials.
The three of them worked to turn dreams into plans, and, approximately a year later, Blue Canoe Brewing Co. was born and opened on December 6, 2014.
