Chez Machin was created in 2001 by former owner Bruno Gonsard native from Chartres France. Diane, the new owner since January 2014 has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality business. Former owner of Vinideus, a NE Portland and Pearl district Jazz and Wine Bar, and married to a Frenchman, she has lived in France where she learned the importance of “qualité de vie”. She also ate a lot of crepes! Now at Chez Machin, along with her husband, they are striving to recreate the ambiance of a typical French Bistro. Stop in and look for the red beret !
