Scottsdale’s first nano-brewey will pump fresh excitement into the Old Town dining and nightlife scene when it opens its doors early July 2014 at the former site of Salty Senorita. Union Barrelhouse, Modern Ale, the brainchild of Scottsdale restaurateur and owner John Casale, in a proprietary partnership with Phoenix Ale, will produce artisanal craft beer, which will be served alongside upscale tavern cuisine by executive chef Brian Feirstein in a comfortable and inviting urban Americana setting. Live entertainment will ramp up the energy level, along with complimentary rides for brew-loving patrons along on the “Hop Stop” to other Old Town beer centric establishments.
