Tubtim means pomegranate in Thai, where it is considered a traditional symbol of prosperity and abundance in our culture, as well as one of the most adored exotic fruits in all of Asia. Nestled just south of verdant Griffith Park and directly in the heart of Los Feliz Village – a neighborhood that has long been one of Los Angeles’ best kept secrets – Tubtim Siam first opened its doors in 1989. Owned and operated by a loving local Thai family who has perfected the art of Thai cuisine. Their hard-work hasn’t gone unnoticed as Tubtim Siam has been featured in numerous publications, including LA Weekly and Zagat.
