The Shack Bar and Grill proudly takes it's name from the Surf Shack at Windansea Beach , A palm-covered shack was originally constructed in 1946 by Woody Ekstrom, Fred Kenyon and Don Okey. "The Surf Shack at Windansea Beach" is historical landmark in San Diego. The Shack Bar and Grill has been around since 1996. We have quickly become somewhat of a new landmark a locals hangout serving hungry beach-goers and surfers from all corners of the globe but mostly just down the street and around the corner.
