THE IDEA: Radio Room has become many things to many people. Open all day, every day, we are a full service café, restaurant and lounge serving tasty, unpretentious food and drink, priced right and happily served to the most diverse patronage in Portland. 365 days a year, Radio Room unfolds from a relaxed city diner in the morning and an easy lunch spot in the afternoon, to a casual dinner house in the evening and a late night gathering place where spirited music, compelling local art and lively conversation blend together like the perfect Portland cocktail. THE SPACES: Radio Room’s interior and exterior spaces were created to serve our neighbors and friends. Our large rooftop deck and main floor lounge provide the perfect respite for our adult guests, while our dining room and lower patio welcome the whole family until 9pm. Whether you are looking for a quiet place with high-speed wifi and high-test espresso in the morning; a gathering place for lunch and beers with friends in the afternoon; a lively place for dinner in the evening; or somewhere to celebrate around a fireplace late into the night, you will find your rightful place at Radio Room. THE BUILDING: Radio Room is owned by two lifelong friends with deep roots in Portland and the King neighborhood, one having lived as a kid just around the corner from our location.
