Hourglass Tavern is an American Grill built and priced for locals, which means we have a variety of affordable options to satisfy. We specialize in slow braised Short Ribs, Lamb, Grilled Chicken and fresh daily Fish. We make our soup, bread, handmade ravioli, & blueberry & apple cobbler in house from scratch. Our array of "Snacklettes" include garlic Shrimp with crispy toast, savory puff pastries, and a varietal cheese plate with cured meats just to name a few. We are the home of the Big Ass Burger & offer seasonal specialties which presently include a 16 oz. veal chop. The 22.95 pre-theatre Prix Fixe includes soup, salad & dessert and all our a la carte entrees can be made a 3 course prix-fixe for an additional $10. Kids menu caters to picky appetites. "Bettibar" on 2 offers 5 hours of happy from 5p.m.-10p.m. daily, seating is first come. Our "3rd floor Lounge" has a laid back vibe embraced by the locals and is perfect for private events. Full dinner service is available on all 3 floors. All are welcome & reservations are recommended.
