Their shared aspiration is simple—to redefine the local barbecue experience with the introduction of true southern smokehouse cooking—with a few delicious and extraordinary twists. Their quest began in competition on the national barbecue circuit. There they garnered rave reviews and, in their first year, earned the coveted Rookie-of-the-Year award, finished in California’s top ten, and the nation’s top 100. Having been tested against some of the nation’s best, the two decided it was time to bring their innovative and award-winning flavors back home by way of Brazen BBQ Smokehouse & Bar and Brazen Catering.
