Barbounia

Barbounia's new menu focuses on Mediterranean cuisine with evident inspirations from several European cultures. Hints of Greece are found in the traditional Mezze-- tzatsiki and several other spreads, served with Naon's famous flat bread--which has acquired a cult-like following. South of Italy shines through during lunch featuring a Mushroom & Asparagus Pizza topped with parmesan, fontina, & truffle oil, hot from the taboon; while the Mushroom Gnocchi is an Italian-inspired entree for the evening. The Grass-fed hanger steak "au poivre" served during dinner and the Croque Madame sandwich served with sunny side up eggs during brunch, has unmistakable ties to the South of France.
