The Tropicale Restaurant & Coral Seas Lounge® is located in the heart of Palm Springs, California. Opened in 2008, the restaurant has earned numerous awards including Open Table’s Diner’s Choice Award for 2009 and 2010. A chic and sophisticated décor provides the setting for its distinctive “world cuisine”, a provocative mix of zesty influences that creates a delightful dining experience in this beautiful desert community. The dining room is a throwback to dinner clubs and themed cocktail bars, a wonderful fit for a town that perfected both, reminiscent of the old Miami supper clubs and the original Coral Seas’ adventure. Plush high-backed semicircular banquettes surround the chandeliers dining room and offer comfortable and private seating. Half the restaurant is outside on a lush, tropical, 2000 square foot patio – an ideal place where friends gather and martinis are sipped under the starlit desert sky. The cuisine has a light, exotic feel with an emphasis on Pacific Rim specialties, from Chilean Sea Bass with Thai Shrimp Curry or Kahlua-Barbecued Pork Chops to all sorts of tasty tapas, salads, gourmet pizzas, and of course the signature desserts, baked on premises and just the right ending to your dining experience. The menu is updated seasonally and offers something for everyone.
