Graffiti Bar, tucked into the rear of the restaurant on a private 30-seat open-air patio, debuted in April 2010. Serving the same acclaimed Asian food and drinks by Chef Schulson that have made Sampan instantly popular, it’s also a haven for sports fans, equipped with TVs behind the bar, and home to our daily Happy Hour. Adorned with custom art from three renowned Philadelphia spray-paint artists, A Lot, Rune and Distort. Graffiti Bar is open regardless of the weather thanks to a state-of-the-art clear ceiling that lets the sun shine in but keeps the rain out. Heat lamps for chilly nights and the soft glow of candlelight make it a perfect spot no matter the season. Every Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Graffiti Bar offers our $2 Satay Happy Hour, featuring an assortment of Chef Schulson’s delicious satays served with assorted dipping sauces. Other affordable happy hour snacks, as well as a daily-changing cocktail (announced via Twitter at the start of Happy Hour) and wine and beer specials, are also available.
