We’ve been on the corner of 8th and Marquette for 20 years and that may just qualify us as an institution when it comes to the streetscape of Minneapolis. Established in 1992 by Kim Gruetzmacher, the 8th St Grill is family owned. The Grill considers its hardworking, friendly crew and loyal customers as part of that family.
Stop in for Happy Hour which goes on daily with some great drink specials plus we have daily food specials too. From the beginning, the Grill’s intent was to offer as much outdoor dining as possible. With tall French doors that open to the street, weather permitting, and a heated patio on the 8th St. side, we offer the luxury of fresh air to our customers, many who spend their workdays at the mercy of air conditioners.
