Il Posto is a pretty Uptown spot specializing in panini, Italian cheese boards and antipasti plates.Il Posto was opened in September 2007 by local, Madison Curry. It emerged in a sunny Uptown storefront offering New Orleans something so simple it seemed remarkable there weren't already 10 other places like it: an attractive lunch café specializing in bare bones Italian cooking — paninis, salumi platters, salads, homemade seasonal soups — and good taste.
