If Paula Deen opened a restaurant in Seattle, it might look something like the Sexton. Where Madame K’s used to be in Ballard, the Sexton serves Southern-inspired comfort food: fried green tomatoes, mini corndogs, shrimp grits, and hush puppies. And from the bar: juleps, fourteen kinds of bourbon, and a cocktail called “The Dustbowl.”
