I was born and raised in Austin, graduated from UT in 2006 and moved to Seattle. In my years in the Pacific Northwest, I became obsessed with coffee and began a long apprenticeship at Victrola Coffee Roasters.
In Seattle, I learned that coffee should be delicious and sweet- A work of art- not the bitter mess produced by imprecise control of brewing variables, oxidation, and poor attention to detail.
At the same time, I was touring the USA, playing folk songs and country songs and learning to love craft beer from all over, but specifically the West coast. Central Texas breweries have been making great beer for years, and as interest grows, more hit the shelves every day! We couldn’t be more excited to share all these beers with y’all!
