Such achievements are always deserving of great party and his graduation party was no exception. The place? Sage later went on to graduate from the Western Culinary Institute in Portland.Sage’s career spans over a decade in the Portland restaurant scene here he has worked at some of Portland’s best-known eateries: Harborside, McCormick’s Fish House at McCormick & Schmick’s among them. In 2005 Sage accepted a position at the Daily Grill where he served as General Manager before being recruited by the just-opening Trader Vic’s Portland. As the face of dining establishment, Sage runs the overall operation of the restaurant doing everything from managing staff schedules to greeting guests in one of Portland’s most festive dining atmospheres.
