Profile
About that time the City of San Diego decided that downtown was not meant to be a slum and the Gaslamp Quarter was born. Nestled inside the historic Keating building. built in 1890, Patricks was the only place downtown with “live” music. which built its popular reputation through its collection of live entertainment, super friendly staff, and really happy patrons. Gradually, the area grew and so did Patricks, eventually reaching their current format of live music every night of the year with the warm friendly feeling of a true neighborhood bar. Over the years Patricks has become known as The Premier Blues Club in San Diego, bringing in talent from all over the country as well as the thriving local music scene. Warm, comfortable, and fun describe this Irish pub, whether you are drinking a pint of Guinness, dancing the night away or just getting mellow to some good blues, Patrick’s is the place to come home to.
